The Task Force is a multi-disciplinary group, composed of volunteer representatives who have knowledge and expertise in the area of criminal justice and child abuse. Representatives include:

Task Force members are nominated by the committee and appointed by the committee. Members are expected to attend regularly scheduled Task Force meetings held quarterly. CJA Task Force members participate in the following types of activities:
- Identify, raise and discuss critical issues within the field of children’s justice and child abuse;
- Provide program recommendations to the WV Center for Children’s Justice;
- Develop policy recommendations related to children’s justice and child abuse issues;
- Review and be prepared to discuss Task Force meeting agenda items, meeting minutes and supplemental documentation;
- Assist the WV CCJ staff in the preparation for the West Virginia three year plan and assessment report; and
- Represent and provide relevant information from the specific field for which he/she has been appointed.
